Host a Telethon Party
Gather your friends, family, colleagues or classmates and help to raise vital funds for sick kids as part of Nine Telethon for the Children’s Hospital Foundation. Ensure you save the date to tune in on Saturday, 23 April, for a night full of inspirational stories from extraordinary kids, entertainment, celebrities, fun and laughter all from the comfort of your armchair.
Now in its eighth year we’re calling on our amazing community to help make a massive impact on the lives of sick kids and their families. Every dollar raised through hosting a Telethon Party will fund life-saving medical research, vital new equipment, and entertainment and support programs that help sick kids get better and go home sooner.
Ways to Fundraise
In Your Community
Get your friends and family together and host a Telethon Party in your home or another suitable location. It can be as big or small as you like - you can even ask your guests to bring a dish, set a theme or host a games night. Dress up have some fun and send us pictures to share on social media. The opportunities are endless and it is a great reason to get together and raise funds for sick kids!
In Your School
Together with your school, preschool or kindy organise a celebration party with parents, teacher and their children to help raise funds on Telethon day. Create a theme, dress up or organise a bake day to involve everyone to help work wonders for sick kids.
In Your Workplace
Gather your colleagues and host a Telethon Party to reconnect. You could have an office bake-off for morning tea, pancake breakfast or even get together with a toastie day to see who makes the best creation. Together, you will work wonders for sick kids!
