I have hosted a Telethon party and received cash, how do I bank funds?

First, you will need to go to your bank and deposit the donations into your personal bank account (make sure you have a credit card or debit card attached to this account).

To get the donations added to your fundraising page you must add the donations as a offline donation.

To do this go to your online fundraising page, click on my your name in the top right corner, click on the my donations drop down, then add an offline donation. Fill out the appropriate details including the credit or debit card details. The funds will then be deducted from your account and reflected on your fundraising page.

I shared my fundraising page on Facebook and it prompted me to add a donate button, should I use this?

If prompted to add a donation button on Facebook we do advise against it, as we cannot link these donations to your Telethon Party page. If you share your unique fundraising page web address, your supporters will be taken to a secure site specifically for your Telethon Party and be issued with a tax-deductible receipt.

What and When is Nine Telethon?

What and When is Nine Telethon?

Nine Telethon is on Saturday 23 April from 7pm and is Queensland’s only live televised fundraising event.

It is a night full of inspirational stories from extraordinary kids, entertainment, celebrities, fun and laughter, that you can enjoy from the comfort of your armchair.

Nine Telethon is now in its eighth year, and once again we’re calling on our amazing Queensland community to make a massive impact on the lives of sick kids and their families. Every dollar raised will fund life-saving medical research, vital new equipment, and entertainment and support programs that help sick kids get better and go home sooner.
