Donate now to bring joy to a sick kid in hospital.

Every year, sick kids and their families spend Christmas at Queensland Children’s Hospital. You can make a Christmas wish come true for a kid too sick to be at home with their family.

You can help bring joy and comfort to sick kids at Queensland Children’s Hospital this December. A donation today could make Christmas wishes come true for children like Archer.

Archer’s Christmas wish came true

In 2023, seven-year-old Archer was the picture of health. But his life took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with b-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) – the most common form of childhood cancer.

With no time to waste, Archer was admitted to Queensland Children’s Hospital where he would stay for up to five weeks at a time over the next two-and-a-half years for life-saving treatment.

In the face of all he was going through, the kindness of people like you is what helped Archer find joy and feel at home in hospital – especially over Christmas when he was nearly too sick to make it home.

“We had been in hospital for a week in the lead up to Christmas... we could see that the wards were all decorated, everyone was in their Christmas scrubs and it was a really nice vibe,” Marta shares.

Please, donate today to help make Christmas magical for the kids like Archer who might be too sick to be home this Christmas.
