“We are so grateful for the care Violet received, so we asked our family and friends to help us give back.”
When Tegan and Adam’s daughter was born with congenital heart disease, they were forced to spend the first six weeks of her life in Queensland Children’s Hospital. When their wedding day finally came around, the couple asked, in lieu of gifts, that their friends and family donate to the Children’s Hospital Foundation instead.

Why fundraise?
With your support we can create a future where gaps in funding grow smaller, not bigger, where more lives are saved, more lifetimes are made and world-class is for all, not just for some.
The funds you raise will help fund:
- Research that’s needed to accelerate breakthroughs and champion the delivery of world-class paediatric care
- Cutting-edge equipment to support sick kids at Queensland Children’s Hospital and across Queensland
- On the ground support for kids with all illnesses, injuries and conditions.
