Together, we can help make a wish come true this Christmas.
This Christmas, children in hospital are not wishing for toys. These children are wishing to be home again with family, to cuddle their pets, to feel well again. Your donation can help turn those wishes into hope.
Almost 4,000 children will receive life-saving care at Queensland Children’s Hospital this December. That is about 130 unique wishes per day. Their wishes are not for toys or games – their wishes are for comfort, for answers and for more time.
At the Children’s Hospital Foundation, we provide the wrap-around programs and services to make hospital a place that helps kids to act, think and feel like kids.
Your fundraising efforts helps us fund activity kits, gift deliveries, food hampers and a photo with Santa to make Queensland Children’s Hospital a place of joy and comfort this Christmas.

How to fundraise
Gather your friends, family, colleagues, community, or classmates and put the FUN in fundraising. The possibilities are endless from dress up days, bake sales and trivia nights to raffles, games and Santa runs!
In your community
Host a Christmas fundraiser wherever takes your fancy! It can be BIG or small, you could ask your guests to bring donations in lieu of gifts, host a trivia or games night, or a raffle with donated prizes! The opportunities are endless.
In your workplace
Gather your colleagues and have an office wide Christmas bake-off, fill a jar with candy canes for a guessing competition or donate at your end of year Christmas party. Whatever you decide to do will make a difference for sick kids!
In your school or kindy
Bring the kids together and host a “Christmas Crazy Dress Day” for a gold coin donation, or a colouring competition using our dedicated resources, or maybe a handmade Christmas craft stall where proceeds are donated.
In your street
Light up your street this Christmas by decorating your home with as many twinkle lights and inflatables as possible and raise money for sick kids! We’ll provide you with posters that link to your personalised fundraising page so anyone who visits can add a donation!
