I’ve started my fundraiser to support Queensland’s sickest kids, and I’d love your help in making a difference!

I believe every child deserves to experience the joy and magic of childhood, even when they are facing illness, injury or a long stay in hospital.

Recently, our Darvella team visited Queensland Children’s Hospital and donated 150 cinnamon buns and 150 toys to children and their families. We hoped to brighten their day, but the experience left an even greater impact on us.

Like so many people, I sometimes feel overwhelmed by work, deadlines and the little problems that can seem enormous in the moment. But meeting these brave children and families changed my perspective completely. It reminded me of what truly matters: our health, the people we love and the precious moments we share.

That is why I have switched on my fundraising, with a goal of raising $10,000 for sick and injured children from across Queensland, northern New South Wales and the Northern Territory.

Your donation can help bring comfort, happiness and a little piece of childhood into hospital through programs such as music therapy, bedside play, books and reading, and the Paw Play therapy dog program.

These moments may seem small, but to a child going through one of the toughest times of their life, they can mean everything. They offer a chance to play, imagine, smile and simply feel like a kid again.

Our fundraising tally is switched on, and now it is up to all of us to help it climb as high as possible.
