STRENGTH IN STRIDES (100K) FOR CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL FOUNDATION (QLD):
I’ve created this page to raise funds for the Children’s Hospital Foundation (QLD).
I am inspired by the incredible work that the Children’s Hospital Foundation provides for patient and family services & I want to do my part to give back.
My beautiful sister, Chloe Saunders, passed away in 2011 & spent a lot of time at the Children's Hospital whilst we were investigating her rare brain tumour & had her undergo brain surgery.
The Children's Hospital supported my sister & my family during incredibly tough times, so I’m taking on this challenge to honour that support & help other families who need it most.
On Xmas Eve December 24th 2025 (the day Chloe passed in 2011), I’ll be running 100km from my family home in Brisbane to Coolangatta (Gold Coast). This run is deeply personal - a way to honour her memory whilst raising funds for an incredible cause.
