In memory of someone special
Our beautiful Charlotte was one of the bravest and kindest people you would meet and we feel her loss everyday.
Charlotte was at the forefront of trying new immunotherapy treatments. We knew that immunotherapy was potentially the only hope of her beating the disease.
Sadly the disease overtook her before she could start the last new treatment cycle. Immunotherapy is still emerging as the best hope we have of beating kids cancer in the future.
We are continuing to collect donations in Charlotte's memory to help further develop these new treatments. As the Children's Immunotherapy Centre gets closer to its official launch ( unfortunately delayed by Covid 19) we just want to let you know that some really exciting things are happening now. There are a lot of incredibly smart people working and collaborating worldwide on innovative ways for diagnosis and treatments to be delivered. Also importantly improving the long term outcomes and quality of life for these kids.
It's been a really difficult year for fundraising as a result of the Bush Fires, Floods and now the Pandemic in Australia. Unfortunately Cancer doesn't stand down in this crisis and many more kids & their families have received a cancer diagnosis or sadly have passed away during this time. We know personally another family who have lost their much loved 13 year old son during this time, and the heartbreak is almost unbearable.
So we hope that you can continue to support our small efforts to raise much needed funding in this difficult time. Every dollar you donate does make a difference
