I'm running 21km in a lab coat for children's health

Imagine a child, no older than 7, in a hospital room, fighting for their life. Every day is a battle. For many children, the fight isn't just for survival—it's for hope, for health, and for a future. This is why I'm running.

I’m 15 years old, and on April 27th, I will be running 21 kilometres in the von Bibra Gold Coast Running Festival, wearing a lab coat adorned with the names of donors like you. All funds raised will go directly to the Children's Hospital Foundation, supporting children needing life-saving treatment, research, and care.

I may not be a pediatric surgeon yet, but I’m already taking steps to make a difference. Your donation will help give these children the care and support they need to fight and recover.

What is 21km For a Cure?

Thursday 6th Feb
21km For a Cure is a fundraiser for the Children's Hospital Foundation. As a part of this fundraiser, I will be wearing a lab coat (symbolic of the people who are working on making a cure for the diseases that take the lives of so many young children every day!) covered with the names of every donor. 

21km For a Cure aims to raise $1500 for the Children's Hospital Foundation in hopes of supporting the creation of a cure to save the lives of children all around the world.
