In memory of Douglas Peter Henneken, we would like to take this opportunity to make a meaningful difference for children and families facing life’s toughest challenges.
Over the past several years, Douglas spent a significant amount of time at the Queensland Children’s Hospital as both an outpatient and an inpatient. The care he received, and the dedication of the staff and resources available to him, were nothing short of incredible. Their compassion, professionalism, and support made an immeasurable difference to Douglas and to our family.
We have created this page in Douglas’s honour, with the hope that other children will continue to have access to this extraordinary hospital and the vital care it provides.
