Monday 20th Apr
What a day 💥

Here’s how the crew showed up:
💪 Lovely – 1,350 lunges
💪 Perse – 1,500 lunges
💪 Chester Suen – 850 uphill lunges 🥵
💪 Mad Mick – 850 uphill lunges 🥵
💪 The public – 50 lunges (we’ll build on that 😉)
Together… we’ve now raised OVER $4,800 ❤️

And yes… Perse has officially taken things to another level: Wearing a tutu, tearing it up, even rigging a crane on the job… in a tutu 😂

Our ballerina takes the floor 💛

Friday 17th Apr

Lunges 4 Leukemia is officially underway and our ballerina has stepped into the spotlight quite literally

Percy is taking on 60 minutes of continuous lunges in support of families affected by leukemia and the transformation from construction site to “ballroom energy” has been nothing short of spectacular (and slightly concerning for his legs)

With every donation milestone the challenge keeps escalating and so does the outfit situation What started as a simple fundraiser has now become a full blown community moment powered by generosity humour and a whole lot of quad strength

But behind the tutu and the jokes is something much bigger Every lunge represents support for families navigating some of the hardest times of their lives Every donation helps provide care comfort and practical assistance when it is needed most

So yes our ballerina is out there doing lunges
Yes he may regret every life decision leading up to this
But most importantly every step is making a difference

💛 LUNGES 4 LEUKEMIA: WHEN FITNESS MEETS FUNDRAISING (AND A LITTLE CHAOS)

Friday 17th Apr

There are fundraisers and then there’s this.

On Saturday, Percy is taking things to a whole new level with Lunges 4 Leukemia, a challenge that’s equal parts grit, community spirit, and pure entertainment. The goal is to complete as many lunges as possible in 60 minutes while raising money for an incredible cause.

Rain, hail, or sunshine he is committed. Legs burning, crowd cheering, and dignity slowly disappearing.

👗 The Escalation Ladder Where It Gets Interesting

Of course, we could not just leave it at lunges. That would be too easy.

We have added a little motivation

$2,000 Tutu unlocked and yes it is already on
$2,500 Tiara and makeup
$3,000 Percy chases the crane hook in a tutu on the next job
$4,000 Full ballerina performance
$5,000 Something seriously unhinged stay tuned

Let’s just say the higher the donations go, the more questionable Percy’s life choices become.

Behind the laughs, costumes, and lunges is a cause that matters.

We are raising funds for leukemia support helping families, funding research, and backing those doing it tough. It is something that hits close to home for many, and this is our way of showing up and making a difference.

What started as a straightforward fundraiser has taken a very unexpected turn…

From the team at Cairns Crane Hire, we can confidently say this: a quick trip to Spotlight Cairns has escalated things well beyond what anyone anticipated.

Somewhere between “let’s raise money for a good cause” and “this seems like a great idea at the time”.. we ended up with a serious collection of tutus. 🩰

And now, Percy’s dignity is officially on the line.

LUNGES 4 LEUKEMIA just got dangerously glamorous…

You legends have already pushed Percy past dignity levels we didn’t even know existed… so naturally… we’re raising the stakes 😈
